How to find us:
Walking
The City Archives is situated in the city centre, a 15 minute walk from the main railway station. It is behind the mall called “Arena”, in the vicinity of the Great Hospital ('Groot Ziekengasthuis'). The route from the ’s-Hertogenbosch Central railway station to The Archives is signposted with blue signs saying “Stadsarchief”.
Bus
From the main railway station “’s-Hertogenbosch Centraal” bus lines 60 (city bus), 61/64, 68/69 and 73 leave for the city centre. With bus number 60 you need to get off at the bus stop “Burgemeester Loeff plein”, near the Arena, the other buses stop near the Great Hospital.
Car
There are two car parks near the City Archives: Q-Park Arena, under the Arena shopping centre, (tariff: about € 1,70 per hour), and the ground level of the car park at the Carolushof next to the City Archives, via Pastoor de Kroonstraat, behind the Arena (tariff: about € 1 per hour).
It is cheaper to park your car at one of the park & rides, which are signposted (“Transferium”) from the motorway. Parking costs about € 2 every time, a bus will bring you and up to three other persons to the City centre and back for free. You get off this city bus, line 60, at the Burgemeester Loeffplein.
